Contradictory Queer/MOGAI Labels

This is a list of reasons someone might identify as Queer/MOGAI labels that may seem to others as "contradictory", sometimes called JuxtaQueer.
The list will never be complete and people have and always will identify with "contradictory" labels. It's also not an exclusive list of reasons as it's impossible to ask everyone why they identify with these labels.

AFAB Trans Fem

  • Someone AFAB and identities with a feminine gender but isn't a binary man

  • An intersex person who was CAFAB or IAFAB and identifies with a feminine gender (it's important to note that intersex people invented AGAB labels)

  • A detrans person AFAB who's "retransiting" to femininity

AMAB Trans Masc

  • Someone AMAB and identities with a masculine gender but isn't a binary man

  • An intersex person who was CAMAB or IAMAB and identifies with a masculine gender (it's important to note that intersex people invented AGAB labels)

  • A detrans person AMAB who's "retransiting" to masculinity

Aroace and Polyamorous

This also apply to aroace people who don't fit the momo-polyam binary - e.g. polyflexiable aroaces, monoflexiable aroaces, ambiamarous aroacess

  • Someone who experiences non-RoSE/Tertiary/Eriattraction attraction and is capable of being in a relationship with more than one person and/or consents to their partner being in a relationship with more than one person

Cis and Trans (Integragender)

  • A multigender or gender fluid person who has one gender than matches their AGAB and at least one that does not.

  • A system/plural person both cis and trans headmates/alters

  • Someone who is both cis and trans due to be intersex e.g. being AFAB and identities as woman but produces "masculine" hormones thus need to transition in a way similar to a perisex trans woman.

Lesbian and Turian/Veldian

People both Lesbian and Turian/Veldian can identify as Velaurin or Mesque if they also identify as mspec

  • A non-binary/genderqueer person who feels they are “gay/queer in all directions”

  • A varioriented person

  • An abro person who changes from being Lesbian to Turian/Veldian

  • A genderfluid person who depends on their gender is either queer for women or queer for men

  • A system/plural person with Lesbian and Turian/Veldian headmates/alters

  • Someone who for whatever reason feels both queer for men and queer for women

Lesboys

Lesboys are sometimes called boy Lesbians, Lesbian boys, Lesbois, Lesbian Men or male Lesbians.The term "Lesboi" is exclusive to Black people. Male Lesbian is hardly used as it implies a person's sex is more important that their gender.Reason someone might identify as a Lesboy:

  • A gender non-conforming/butch lesbian who doesn’t identify as a man or boy but uses masculine pronouns and/or language as part of their gender expression

  • A trans man who:

  • o Identified as a lesbian before realising he’s a man and still feels connection to lesbianism

  • o Feels his gender modality makes his attraction to women queer

  • o Feels some connection to womanhood/girlhood/femininity because of his gender modality

  • o Uses the historical definition of Lesbian which was “anyone AFAB attractive to women, trans and/or gender variant”.

  • Someone questioning if they are lesbian or a man so currently using both labels

  • A multigender/genderfluid person who is both a man/boy masculine gender and a different gender and attracted to women

  • A system/plural person with both men/boy/masculine and lesbian headmates/alters

  • Someone is cusper between being very butch/gender non-conforming and a trans man

  • Someone who is non-binary and/or genderqueer and masculine but not a binary man

  • Someone who for whatever reason is a man/boy/masculine and feels their attraction to women is Queer.

Mspec Lesbian (Lunian)

An mspec lesbian is someone who identities with an mspec label (bi, ply, pan) as well a Lesbian. They may identify as Lunian.
Reasons for identifying as an mspec lesbian include:

  • Someone who varioriented e.g. being panromantic and lesbosexual or bisensual and lesboromantic

  • Someone who is abro – sometimes a lesbian, sometimes mspec

  • Someone who is attracted more genders than binary woman but not binary men

  • Someone who is questioning if they are mspec or lesbian so currently using both labels

  • Someone who was lesbian and in a relationship with their partner who came out as trans/gender variant and are still attracted to them, so adopt an mspec label to acknowledge their gender

  • A lesboflexiable person

  • A system/plural person that includes both mspec and lesbian headmates/alters

  • Someone who uses the historical definition of Lesbian, which was anyone AFAB attracted to women and/or trans and/or gender variant

Mspec Straight

Mspec Straight people may also identify as Mesrien or Jupiteric
Reasons for idenifying as Mspec Straight can include:

  • Someone who varioriented e.g. being panromantic and hetrosexual or bisensual and hetroromantic

  • Someone who is abro – sometimes straight, sometimes mspec

  • Someone who is questioning if they are mspec or straight so currently using both labels

  • Someone who use the definition of straight as “attracted to genders other than their own” and since most people have more than one gender that’s not their own this includes more than one gender making them mspec.

  • Someone who was straight and in a relationship with their partner who came out as trans/gender variant and are still attracted to them, so adopt an mspec label to acknowledge their gender

  • A hetroflexiable person

  • A system/plural person that includes mspec and straight headmates/alters

  • Someone who uses the definition of straight and anyone attracted to the “opposite gender” whether or not that’s exclusive.
